TRS Red Split Lentils (1kg)

Red Split Lentils are commonly found in Middle Eastern and Indian dishes, with incredible versatility, making them suited for use in a variety of different cuisines. Softening when cooked down, Red Split Lentils are often used for thickening various foods such as purees, soups, stews, chilis and even sauces. They are easy to cook and are quite filling and dense.

For a delicious soup - Fry an onion and garlic, add red split lentils and cook for 5 minutes before adding chopped coriander, salt, vegetable stock and sweet chilli sauce. Quantities are not imperative, adjust to suit your own taste.
